My entry for this week is still part of our Royal Botanic Gardens visit and this time I am going to share with you one of the statues that fascinated us most especially my daughter who is very crazy about horses. The statue of a bronze mare and her foal by the French artist, Arthur J. le Duc, purchased in 1891, and donated to the Royal Botanic Gardens in 1958.
