Outdoor Wednesday

This was last Sunday late in the afternoon when I placed our big rubbish bin at the kerbside of the road for pick up on the early morning of the next day. When I looked up in the sky, I saw this rainbow.

Shadow Shot Sunday

It's time for another Shadow Shot Sunday and here is my post. Pictures were taken during our visited to Maroubra beach. My kids had a great time swimming and playing in the sand. I captured some photos to share with you.

Scenic Sunday

Just some of the scenes while we were at the amphitheater in Taronga Zoo watching the bird show.
Sydney skyline.
Picture below, I am not sure if those birds are corella. They were set free by the care taker just after the bird show finished. They flew around and perched on that dead tree but went back to their cage shortly after.
And the birds below are called red tail cockatoo and like with the corella, they were set free by the care taker and flew around, perched on a tree before going back to their cage.

Weekend Reflections

These were taken sometime on December 2010 when we were driving going to Richmond, north-west of Sydney, we saw a dam which had 2 black swans swimming on it. The other one was so shy that it went away behind the tall reeds after I took a photo of them together.
