My World Tuesday

This is the Sir Leslie Morshead memorial fountain.

Located opposite the State Library, the fountain honours Sir Leslie Moreshead (1889-1959) who was a Gallipoli Anzac during World War I and commanded Australian troops in the Siege of Tobruk, Libya, in World War II. The memorial, a circle of 36 water sprays, is the work of Robert Woodward, who also designed the El Alamein fountain in Kings Cross.

Shadow Shot Sunday

Photos were taken in Powerhouse Museum, Sydney during our visit last Sunday. In the photo below, my son was trying to pump water using an old hand operated pump.
After a few pumps, he decided to give a turn to another kid who was patiently waiting for a turn.
Our shadows while we were walking going to the Central Station from the Powerhouse Museum. I bought my son a sausage roll and he ate it on our way back to the Central Station.
Have a wonderful week!
