My World Tuesday

I thought to share with you one of my kids favourite places in our suburb. This is a playground located just about 1 block away from where we live. I always take the kids here to play mostly on weekends. It is well maintained by the Council keeping the whole area clean all the time with a picnic table and chair and a drinking water as well.
Images were captured through my mobile phone. I didn't think to take my camera with me at that time but I'm glad I had my mobile phone when the idea suddenly occurred to me, why not make a post about this playground in My World Tuesday. And here comes the usual afternoon passers by, a flock of homing pigeons on their afternoon exercise flight. Thanks to That's my World! Blue Monday

Picture was taken during the Blacktown City Festival sometime last February 2010. They had lots of entertainment for kids like jumping castles, farm animals, magic show and many others. This particular jumping castle caught my eyes because of its colour. I thought this would make a good entry for Blue Monday. This was just newly put up and no kids playing yet, so I grabbed the chance to take a snap. Have a great week!

My World Tuesday

Fitzroy Falls is in Morton National Park, named after NSW Governor Sir Charles Fitzroy during his visit on 1850 . The falls lie in the path of the Yarrunga Creek, which drops over 80 metres down the escarpment, and flows on into the Kangaroo River. The water flow is not as massive, nor as irregular, as in the past due to a water catchment dam further upstream today

Shadow Shot Sunday

Pictures were taken few years ago, back 2006 when a friend from the Philippines came over for a visit for few days. One of the places we took her was the Sydney Opera House. It was also a great opportunity for me to take close up pictures of the SOH to be sent to the Philippines for one of my relatives asked my favor to get few close up pictures for her. As I checked out the photos again, I noticed that most of them cast shadows, little or big. It's quite funny for I didn't notice it until this time..lol. So I thought to myself, why not post some of the pictures for my SSS entry for this week.The picture below is an exception of what was mentioned above for this was taken recently.

Scenic Sunday

The country side of Hannam Vale, Taree, NSW. These were taken sometime last January 2010 during our weekend away to visit friends in the North Coast. Despite the busy schedule of our short holiday, me and my Filipina friend still managed to go out for a morning walk every morning around the area. Of course, I didn't want my camera left behind.
