Outdoor Wednesday

I was out yesterday at the backyard to do some cleaning after my household chores. Then, I heard a sound of the bird that wasn't familiar to me up in our pecan tree. I searched and saw the apostlebird perching on one of the branches. We don't see this kind of bird very often in our backyard so I grabbed my camera inside to take some photos. Then a moment later, the bird was on the ground searching for food. I noticed after I took a few photos that the bird wasn't alone. There were some in our mulberry tree but didn't get to the ground like the other one. I wasn't able to take photos of the others before they all flew away . "The Apostlebird is a medium-sized dark grey bird with a short strong bill, brown wings and black tail. It is normally seen in groups of six to ten birds, and is usally seen on the ground. It belongs to the group of birds known as 'mud-nesters', the Family Corcoracidae, noted for their communal life style and their bowl nests constructed of mud and plant fibres."
