Our World Tuesday

Here are our visitors the other day.It is nice to see them on our mulberry tree at the backyard. We always enjoy watching them.

The Apostle bird (Struthidea cinerea), also known as the Grey Jumper, is a quick-moving, gray or black bird about 13 inches (33 centimetres) long. It is a native to Australia where it roams woodlands, eating insects and seeds at, or near, ground level. Apostlebirds often travel ingroups of about 12; for this reason they were named after the Biblical apostles, the twelve chief followers of Jesus Christ.

Not only two but three visited your backyard and enjoyed the mulberry tree!

I would be in bliss if I experienced this myself. Unfortunately, I live in an urban jungle.

I would love to get to know you better through your future posts. Would you like us to follow each other?
