Only recently in my peninsula world have I seen a few crested pigeons! The tips of their wing feathers are green and shining lilac! Quite strange seeing that they are mainly a grey bird!
And they cast lovely shadows in your photos!

Those pigeons were certainly cooperative. They didn't try to fly away at all!
A SHADOW THE SIZE OF THE SUN
If I had a shadow the size of the sun,
I’m not sure how fast I’d be able to run,
Or if I could flee from its ravenous jaws,
While keeping away from its razor-sharp claws!
